Abstract

The Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) in October 2020 is based on the calculation of NTP with the base year 2018 (2018 = 100). This NTP calculation covers 5 sub-sectors, namely the sub-sector of rice & secondary crops, horticulture, smallholder plantation crops, livestock and fisheries.
In October, NTP of East Nusa Tenggara was 96.28 with NTP of each sub-sector recorded at 95.0 9 for the sub-sector of rice-secondary crops (NTP-P); 98.96 for the horticulture subsector (NTP-H); 96.24 for the smallholder plantation sub-sector (NTP-TPR); 102.12 for the livestock sub-sector (NTP-Pt) and 92.52 for the fisheries sub-sector (NTP-Pi).
There was an increase of 0.66 percent in October NTP compared to September NTP. This increase was due to an increase in the price index received and the price index paid by farmers.
In rural areas there was an inflation of 0.07 percent which was influenced by the increase in commodity prices for equipment, tools and routine household maintenance.
