August 2024 year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Ngada Regency amounted to 1.10 percent

Abstract

In August 2024, the year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation rate in Ngada Regency was 1.10 percent, with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 104.72.

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases in several expenditure groups, including: food and beverage/restaurant services by 11.05 percent; clothing and footwear by 9.66 percent; food, beverages, and tobacco by 2.63 percent; household equipment, tools, and routine household maintenance by 1.01 percent; personal care and other services by 0.61 percent; and education by 0.55 percent.

Meanwhile, other expenditure groups experienced a decrease, such as housing, water, electricity, and household fuel by 2.99 percent; transportation by 1.35 percent; health by 1.19 percent; information, communication, and financial services by 0.82 percent; as well as recreation, sports, and culture by 0.66 percent. In August 2024, Ngada Regency experienced a month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate of 0.18 percent. As of August 2024, the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate in Ngada Regency was 0.19 percent.
