Abstract

In September 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Ngada Regency reached 0.39 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 104.49.

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases as indicated by the rise in several expenditure group indices, namely: food and beverage/restaurant services by 9.53 percent; clothing and footwear by 7.70 percent; personal care and other services by 1.53 percent; food, beverages, and tobacco by 0.90 percent; education by 0.55 percent; household equipment, appliances, and routine maintenance by 0.40 percent.

Meanwhile, other expenditure groups experienced a decrease, namely: housing, water, electricity, and household fuel by 2.29 percent; transportation by 1.40 percent; health by 0.90 percent; information, communication, and financial services by 0.82 percent; recreation, sports, and culture by 0.66 percent.

In September 2024, on a month to month (m-to-m) basis, Ngada Regency experienced deflation with a month to month deflation rate of 0.22 percent. In September 2024, the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate in Ngada Regency was -0.03 percent.
