The y-o-y inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by rising indices in several expenditure groups, including: the food and beverage/restaurant group at 5.36 percent; the health group at 2.92 percent; the food, beverages, and tobacco group at 2.82 percent; the clothing and footwear group at 2.74 percent; the education group at 0.31 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 0.30 percent. Meanwhile, other expenditure groups experienced decreases, including: the transportation group at 1.90 percent; the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group at 1.26 percent; the furnishings, household equipment, and routine household maintenance group at 1.01 percent; the information, communication, and financial services group at 0.90 percent; and the recreation, sports, and culture group at 0.51 percent.
