Abstract

"In February 2024, there was a year-on-year inflation (y-on-y) of 2.42 percent in Ngada Regency, with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.16.

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases reflected in the rise of several expenditure group indices, namely: the clothing and footwear group by 12.07 percent; the food and beverage/restaurant supply group by 12.02 percent; the food, beverage, and tobacco group by 4.72 percent; the personal care and other services group by 3.48 percent; the education group by 0.52 percent; and the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.22 percent. Meanwhile, other expenditure groups experienced a decrease, namely the transportation group by 3.40 percent; the equipment, tools, and routine household maintenance group by 1.08 percent; the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 0.88 percent; the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.79 percent; and the health group by 0.09 percent.

In February 2024, there was a month-to-month deflation (m-to-m) in Ngada Regency, with a deflation rate of 0.03 percent. Meanwhile, on a year-to-date basis (y-to-d) in February 2024, there was inflation in Ngada Regency, with a year-to-date inflation rate of 0.61 percent."
