Abstract

In June 2024, Ngada Regency experienced a year-on-year (y-o-y) inflation rate of 2.15 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.82.

The y-o-y inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by the rise in several expenditure group indices, namely: the provision of food and beverages/restaurants group by 12.06 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 11.07 percent; the food, beverages, and tobacco group by 4.74 percent; the household equipment, appliances, and routine household maintenance group by 1.11 percent; and the education group by 0.24 percent.

Meanwhile, other expenditure groups experienced a decline, namely: the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 2.27 percent; the transportation group by 2.07 percent; the personal care and other services group by 1.12 percent; the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.84 percent; the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.66 percent; and the health group by 0.39 percent.

In June 2024, on a month-to-month (m-to-m) basis, Ngada Regency experienced deflation with a month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate of 0.06 percent. Year-to-date (y-to-d), Ngada Regency experienced an inflation rate of 1.24 percent in June 2024.
