July 2024 Year on Year (y-on-y) inflation in Ngada Regency amounted to 1.17 percent

Abstract

In July 2024, Ngada Regency experienced a year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation rate of 1.17 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 104.91.

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to price increases indicated by the rise in several expenditure group indices, namely: the food and beverage/restaurant provision group by 12.06 percent; the clothing and footwear group by 10.88 percent; the food, beverage, and tobacco group by 2.44 percent; the household equipment, appliance, and routine household maintenance group by 1.02 percent; and the education group by 0.55 percent. Meanwhile, other expenditure groups experienced a decline, namely the housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group by 2.28 percent; the transportation group by 2.07 percent; the personal care and other services group by 1.26 percent; the information, communication, and financial services group by 0.82 percent; the health group by 0.76 percent; and the recreation, sports, and culture group by 0.66 percent.

In July 2024, on a month-to-month (m-to-m) basis, Ngada Regency experienced deflation with a month-to-month (m-to-m) deflation rate of 0.86 percent. In July 2024, on a year-to-date (y-to-d) basis, Ngada Regency experienced inflation with a year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate of 0.37 percent.
